Accred. Dec. 4, 2014 1- Fenway -- will get some IRS advice from Ron Siegel '71 (unaffiliated). John will help discuss issues. The review team recommended reviewing again in the '15-16 school year. 2- Review status: all reports are done, 3 will be reviewed today by the AILG board (AEPhi, DTD, SN). AEPhi is cited for poor alumni involvement. SN has an issue with its IRS tax status. DTD is making progress on previous reservations but is suffering from the loss of key volunteer alumni and a poor process heritage. SN will definitely be reviewed next term in order to ensure that their tax status is cleared. AEPhi's next review will be pushed to Fall 2015 or later because of the time it takes to recruit alumni volunteers. HLM will ask Anya to be their reservation manager. DTD is likely to be reviewed next term but some progress has to be evidenced to the reservation manager. HLM will contact Roy Russel to see if he'd be willing to be that manager. The onus is on the living group to report to the reservation manager. The manager will get an e-mail ping to ask about reporting status at 6 weeks with weekly reminders. 3- AePi: John Covert sent the accreditation review report to the housing corporation officers with a cover letter. Their board has a majority formally held by representatives of their national. The MIT alumni have little involvement and the situation may be considered a risk that wasn't raised to a reservation by the review team. Thus, the Accreditation committee feels that this situation requires review next year. We will also start sending reports to all review attendees and specific officers, including the chapter advisor. 4- Ernie distributed an analysis of the geographic distribution of members of FSILG house corporation membership. It is recommended reading.
