AILG Facilities Committee Meeting October 3, 2018 FCI Office MIT Student Center W20-020 Attendees: Larry Stabile, Tom Stohlman, Bob Ferrara, Pam Gannon, Scott Klemm, and by phone Tom Holtey and Peter Cooper Pam Gannon will be convener of Facilities Assessment Phase II. Include Brad B., Pam G., Larry S., Tom S., David Fredrick, Scott K., Peter C., Dennis Collins, Bob F. Need an AILG Board Member. West Campus was a good model. Inspections: Tom S. reports that about half the buildings are done. Facilities Action Plans (FAP) master condition spreadsheet issues. Someone needs to maintain the spreadsheet. Will be used to develop systemwide issues. MIT needs more refined numbers: get some contractor estimates, Dept of Facilities experience, chapter recent experiences. Sprinklers could be several vendors. Fire alarm should be one vendor. Sprinkler mods may trip need for hydraulic calculations.
