Agreed that there would be parallel but separate tracks. Perhaps add a Facilities Committee member to accreditation visit for problem houses. Coordinate with Accred team leader. Need to resolve how to get Facilities Assessment planning info/status to each Accreditation team. Facilities Action Plan Status updated by Tom Stohlman. Of the 37 buildings and 34 organizations, no contact yet with 13. Larry will write to lagging houses. FAPs due January 1. Facilities Committee or Steering Committee needs to publish a cover for the ARUP reports regarding bedroom door closers and magnetic hold-opens, that ARUP has used an improper reading of the code. It was mentioned that BFD has test data on fire resistance of doors other than the UL tag. Pam will publish a communication about Assessments and FAPs. She will include a contact list of relevant committees. Steering Committee will be hiring a project estimator for the system wide fire alarm and sprinkler work. Will identify four prototype houses which can be used to approximate all houses. Fund raising seminar scheduled for Thursday evening 11/29. Discussed draft Notice of Safety Concerns format and standard. Access to non-residents, follow-up, details of the safety issue, use ALIG not MIT letterhead, copy to house corps so they know of escalation, put one house per form so it can be forwarded to the one house.
