AILG Facilities Committee Meeting April 1, 2020 9:00 am by Zoom Attendees: Larry Stabile, Scott Klemm, Tom Holtey, Ernie Sabine, Brad Badgley, Alex Pina, Pam Gannon, Bob Ferrara, Joshua Schuler, Liz Jason, Tom Stohlman, Patrick McCabe, Dennis Collins, Peter Cooper Joshua Schuler was introduced as the new [FCI] Director of Facilities. Scott's latest tally is that 8 buildings are completely empty. GRAs and grad students in the others. MIT Police and AUS patrols are happening. Scott, Brad and Pam working on owner contacts and coordinating with American Alarm list. Liz indicated that patrols are contacting Dean on Call who contacts Brad or Liz who contact alumni owners if appropriate. Pam indicated that 100% of houses have responded with emergency contact information. Scott is updating a checklist for owners; basically a revised version of the move-out checklist. Will post on website. Quarterly fire alarm inspections by American Alarm being attempted. AA needs signed form relating to COVID. Script for calling owners in development. Reimbursements: Pam expected announcement by week end. Funds probably going through alumni corps. Documentation will be required (occupants, house bill breakout, etc.). Akil and Eric for AILG Board are working this issue. Egress project on hold. Finalist selected and notified. Dorms: Students moved into the three buildings designated. Working to make some other buildings ready for quarantined first responders. FSILG buildings volunteered for COVID use: all MIT owned buildings plus Chi Phi and PBE. BTP being used for GRAs.
