AILG Facilities Committee meeting May 27, 2020 9:00 am via Zoom Attendees: Larry Stabile, , Scott Klemm, Tom Holtey, Pam Gannon, David Lawrence, Brad Badgley, Liz Jason, Tom Stohlman, Bob Ferrara, Patrick McCabe, Josh Schuler, Dennis Collins, Akil Middleton, Peter Cooper Housing and food expense reimbursement payments all have been issued. BSF reports 8 scheduled walkthroughs this week. Some houses electing no walk through, just a call. Some need cleaning and pest extermination. FCI reports Casella dumpsters have been reduced to pickup once per week. Removing dumpsters would be logistically challenging therefore will not do. Akil Middleton reported that Operations Teams split in two; Lifestyle and Logistics. Tom Stohlman will be the Facilities Committee representative on the Logistics Team. Belongings Retrieval Plan: There are three elements: FSILG Office policy, Facilities Committee Guidelines, and potential FCI service offering. Current policy is no undergrads in buildings and no summer rental. Guidelines may allow undergrad in for retrieval for limiting duration, no overnight. Will review dorm guidelines. Tom Stohlman's document will be revised to become Retrieval Guideline. Bob Ferrara contacted three alumni corp boards. Others were aware of the remaining houses as OK. IRDF funding on hold for fire alarm and door project survey. Want survey to be immediately before construction and that funding is way off. A subject for future discussion: If undergraduates are not returning to campus in the fall can we rent to graduate students. NEXT MEETING Wed June 3, 2020 9:00 am.
