MIT has announced that vaccinations will be required for fall attendance by all students. Work week attendance not yet determined. At Plenary some expressed importance of early attendance by Actives to work on preparations. Alums expect that they will need to do much prep work. Will ask Pam on expectations for MIT financial help on startup expenses: moving, cleaning, heating/cooling systems, appliance cleaning/checkout, laundry equipment, food restocking. Alumni need to be responsible. Active participation nice to have. Josh and Scott reported on inspections and licensing. Scott is meeting tomorrow with Boston Inspectional Services to coordinate inspection process. Licensing process still working. Cambridge finished with inspections last week. OK for 2020 and 21. Changing over to computer based system. Expect license renewal in Dec/Jan. IS&T upgrade is complete in Boston. Brookline will be next followed by Cambridge. AP12 wireless access will require some training on how to make points in rooms live. Startup Subcommittee: Tom S. needs updated contact list. Suggest having a Plenary Fall Startup Meeting after the annual meeting. Need to coordinate through the AILG Board. Need ideas on how to get full participation by all houses. For IRDF funding clarification, IRDF website was recommended for grants and loans guidance. NEXT MEETING Wednesday June 2 at 10 am. Notes by Peter Cooper
