AILG Facilities Committee Meeting May 6, 2020 9:00 am via Zoom Attendees: Larry Stabile, Scott Klemm, Pam Gannon, David Lawrence, Tom Stohlman, Liz Jason, Josh Schuler, Bob Ferrara, Ernie Sabine, Tom Holtey, Patrick McCabe, Dennis Collins, Brad Badgley, Peter Cooper Retrieving belongings process discussed. A draft document will be circulated for discussion at next week's meeting. Dennis Collins reported on MIT Housing activities. Hope to restart construction June 1. New Vassar dorm completion expected at end of year. Very low incidence of sickness experienced on campus. Very light usage of dorms for infected, quarantined or overnight workers (Burton Connor, Green Hall, Pi Phi, East Campus). Trying to delay retrieving belonging process until after governor lifts stay-at-home order. There is very restricted access to academic buildings. BSF visits to buildings starting this week. Last week's notes reported in error that visitations were complete. Call-in summary spreadsheet presented and discussed by Tom Stohlman and committee. 34 houses. 24 occupied. Plenary was attended by 81 participants indicating lots of interest. Bob suggested weekly heart beat messaging on various subjects. Scott suggested an every Thursday at 5:00 pm open Zoom room, open chat, like office hours. FCI could set it up for the Facilities Committee. Boston licenses have been renewed for 24 out of 25 houses.
