AILG Facilities Committee meeting 6/3/2020 9:00 am via Zoom Attendees: Larry Stabile, Tom Holtey, David Lawrence, Liz Jason, Brad Badgley, Dennis Collins, Patrick McCabe, Tom Stohlman, Pam Gannon, Josh Schuler, Scott Klemm, Ernie Sabine, Peter Cooper No damage to FSILG buildings during black lives protests. Josh has completed 10 walk throughs so far. 7 are suffering from trash, food, egress blockage from hasty departure. Has a scorecard of observations. Cleaning service must be supervised to be effective. Brad referred us to Expectations for Institute Housing. Larry asked that we not use Zoom chat but say comments verbally. [LAS Chat is fine for items like needing to leave the meeting or other such info, but not to debate or bring up topics. A basic problem is it's too easy for someone -- like the chair -- to miss something.] No communication yet from Boston and Cambridge inspectional services. Retrieval of Belongings: Much discussion about coordinating FSILG Office communication and Facilities Committee process documents. Brad will circulate his draft email for comment. Tom Stohlman will add attachments to his document: sample forms, sign-in, checklist, questionnaire. Hopefully the two documents can be settled by Friday and issued. Cleanup guidance should be on next weeks agenda. Also guidance if there is a COVID outbreak in the building: cleaning, disinfecting, isolation. Ops Team includes David Hutchins, Tom Holtey and Tom Stohlman; covers broad areas of food, cleaning, et.al. "On Campus" includes dorms and FSILGs, i.e. approved student housing. NEXT MEETING June 10, 2020. Open Zoom session Wednesday at noon. Notes by Peter Cooper Edits in [] by L. Stabile
