AILG Facilities Committee Meeting July 7, 2021 10 am via Zoom

Attendees: Tom Holtey, Larry Stabile, Bob Ferrara, Tom Stohlman, Josh Schuler, Pam Gannon, Brad Badgley, Ernie Sabine, Bill Tsocoyeanes, Scott Klemm, Patrick McCabe, Peter Cooper

Meeting notes of June 2 approved.

House visitor sign in forms for contact tracing purposes discussed. Best method not yet clear from pilot houses. Could use paper or a Google form. Need name, phone number, email, time in and time out.

Facilities Startup Committee will do two sessions to accommodate more people during this summer vacation time:

Thursday July 15 7:00 pm and Monday July 19 at 1:00 pm. Presentation will be directed toward alumni although undergraduates welcome.

The announcement/invite will attach and link to the Startup Timeline.

One pilot house had alumni tour their house with their undergraduate leadership, which was very successful.

Boston Fire Dept walk-throughs expected August or September. Scott is urging Sept when house is occupied. (No Boston Inspectional Services visits in the fall).

Brad clarified that students can arrive early by request, if they have a reason to be there, i.e. sports, house startup prep, etc. DSL does not want student just arriving for no reason and parties are not allowed.

Pam reported for  Facilities Renewal Program that MIT Financial VP has approved IRDF funding the FRP project manager.

NEXT MEETING first Wednesday of the month, August 4 at 10 am.
