Hi all,
I’ve received some questions regarding the FSILG Reimbursements and here are the questions and answers:
What expenses are included in the FSILG Reimbursement?
The reimbursement is for both housing and food expenses. Housing expenses may include taxes, rent, utilities, maintenance, insurance, and other facilities-related expenses. Food expenses will vary depending on what type of meal plan your organization uses.
What expenses are NOT covered in the FSILG Reimbursement?
MIT is not providing rebates for dues to national/international organizations or chapter social/activity fees.
Do we need to include our GRA in our reimbursement application?
No, you do not need to include any information about your GRA in your reimbursement application.
What type of checklist is required by MIT to demonstrate that rebates or credits were made to students?
Each house corporation will need to provide a spreadsheet that lists student names, date of action, amount of cash rebate or amount of credit. Most house corporations will need to collaborate with their undergraduate leadership to put this list together.
Here is an example:

Please don’t hesitate to ask any other questions.
Have a great day!
Best,
Pam
