AILG Facilities Committee Meeting 9/9/2020 9:00 am via Zoom Attendees: Larry Stabile, Bob Ferrara, Pam Gannon, Ernie Sabine, Tom Stohlman, Tom Holtey, Dennis Collins, Patrick McCabe, Scott Klemm, Josh Schuler, Peter Cooper Future meetings will be at 10:00 am to accommodate Brad and Liz's schedule conflict. Scott reported that students are retrieving belongings from houses and after-cleaning is happening. Dumpsters getting overwhelmed by neighbors. Will reduce number of dumpsters on case by case basis. Boston Fire inspections starting. Cambridge unclear whether they will have in-building inspections. Insurance inspections are starting. FCI helping with access. Facility Management service: three more have joined. Dennis Collins reported that dorm residents have filed plans for quick evacuation. Pam reported that early reimbursement applications have been received. Will issue FAQs based on questions arising from these. Will clarify GRA subsidy. Guidelines for building issues: GRA training; tell house corp and FSILG Office of any building problems. Have GRA attend house corp meetings. Working to get FSILGs on MIT Facilities ticketing system. Could work similar to American Alarm: notification to FCI which forwards to appropriate house contacts. Campus COVID arrangements: 700 seniors and 2-300 other undergraduates are on campus. 250 of the seniors in dorms are FSILG members. Many others are renting off-campus housing. Will need to be a serious re-education process when students return next term and next fall. SLI Dashboard: collecting more comments. Facility Committee will develop requirements. FCI will implement. FCI will update data in dashboard this week and next. We then will determine what to add or delete. Finally the user interface will be considered.
