FSILG Network Information

If you have reached this page because you are seeking help with your FSILG network, please refer to the IS&T knowledge base.

All houses have signed the Network Management Program Agreement specifying the division of responsibilities between MIT IS&T and the FSILG.

FSILGs are required to designate at least one current undergraduate member as their Network Contact. The Network Contact serves as liaison with MIT IS&T for troubleshooting network problems and provides access to network equipment when needed. As of March 2016, Network Contacts are designated using the FCI Contact List, which is accessed at If no one is designated as a Network Contact, the default person for this role is the undergraduate house manager.

The “Slice of MIT” blog has a nice post describing the new fiber optic Internet connections.
